Day 01: Quito - Cotopaxi National Park - Ríobamba
Visit of the Cotopaxi National Park; drive southward on the Pan-American Highway to Ambato and Ríobamba where you stay overnight.
Day 02: Ríobamba - Train "Nariz del Diablo" - Baños
Very early drive to the Railway station in Ríobamba from where the train leaves at 7 AM to Alausi through the ¨Nariz del Diablo¨. From Alausi we drive to Baños where you stay overnight.
Day 03: Baños - Pastaza Valley - Quito
In the morning visit of various Waterfalls around Baños before we return to Quito.
Quito - Baños - Train "Nariz del Diablo" -- Cuenca

Day 01: Quito - Cotopaxi National Park - Baños
Visit of the Cotopaxi National Park; we drive southward on the Pan-American Highway to Ambato and Baños where you stay overnight.
Day 02: Baños - Pastaza Valley - Baños
Visit several Waterfalls in the Pastaza Valley. Overnight in Baños.
Day 03: Baños - Chimborazo - Ríobamba
We drive to Ambato and south to Ríobamba from where we visit the extinct Chimborazo Volcano (6310 m / 20702 ft a.s.l.). Depending on the weather situation, we visit surrounding villages instead of the mountain. Overnight in Ríobamba
Day 04: Ríobamba - Train "Nariz del Diablo" - Cuenca
Very early drive to the Railway station in Ríobamba from where the train leaves at 7 AM to Alausi through the ¨Nariz del Diablo¨. We drive from Alausi to Cuenca on the Pan-American Highway. Overnight in Cuenca.
Day 05: Cuenca - ?
After breakfast we do a city tour in Cuenca. You have the possibility to continue the journey to Guayaquil from where you can continue your journey to Galápagos or you can fly back to Quito.
Quito - Baños - Train "Nariz del Diablo" - Ingapirca - Cuenca

Day 01: Quito - Cotopaxi National Park - Baños
Visit of the Cotopaxi National Park; we drive southward on the Pan-American Highway to Ambato and Baños where you stay overnight.
Day 02: Baños - Pastaza Valley - Baños
We visit several Waterfalls in the Pastaza Valley. Overnight in Baños.
Day 03: Baños - Chimborazo - Ríobamba

Day 05: Ingapirca - Gualaceo - Chordeleg - Cuenca - ?
Visit of the Canari & Inca Ruins in Ingapirca. On the way to Cuenca we visit the "artesian" centers of Gualaceo and Chordeleg. Overnight in Cuenca.
Day 06: Cuenca - ?
After breakfast we do a city tour in Cuenca. You have the possibility to continue the journey to Guayaquil from where you can continue your journey to Galápagos or you can fly back to Quito.
